2. SCOPE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This policy applies to the PatiLive mobile application and the services provided within the application. If there are web pages/services operated in connection with the application, the relevant provisions of this policy may also apply to them.
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
PatiLive may collect the following types of information to provide, improve, and securely operate its services.
3.1. Information You Provide to Us
Account information: e-mail, login method (Sign in with Apple / Sign in with Google), account preferences.
Profile and content: profile fields, adoption listing information, descriptions, photos you upload, and similar content.
Pet companion information: tag/QR-related information and pet information added by the user.
Support communications: messages you send to us, request/complaint content, and related records.
3.2. Information Automatically Generated Through Your Use of the Service
Usage logs: session times, features used, transaction history (e.g., creating a lost notice), and in-app interactions.
Device and technical information: device type/model, operating system version, app version, device identifiers, IP address, language settings, crash logs, and performance data.
3.3. Information We May Collect If You Grant Permission
Location information: geographic location when you grant location permission for functions such as lost notices.
Camera/gallery access: media content within the scope of relevant device permissions when you wish to upload photos/videos.
3.4. In-App Purchases (IAP) and Payment Information
In-app purchases and subscription transactions are processed via the App Store / Google Play.
As a rule, PatiLive does not directly collect your credit card/debit card details. Through the relevant stores, we may receive limited verification data such as transaction ID, subscription status, and product ID for the purpose of validating purchase/subscription status.
4. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
In mobile applications, device identifiers, SDKs, and similar technologies may be used instead of cookies. These technologies may be used for purposes such as operation of the application, security, error detection, and performance measurement. If we have web pages, separate notices may be provided there for cookies/similar technologies.
5. HOW WE USE INFORMATION (PURPOSES)
We may process your personal data, in compliance with applicable legislation, particularly the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), for the following purposes:
Creating, managing, and verifying your account,
Providing QR tag, lost notice, and pet adoption services,
Providing customer support and responding to your requests,
Ensuring application security; preventing fraud/abuse and unlawful use,
Detecting errors, measuring performance, and improving service quality,
Fulfilling our legal obligations and responding to requests from competent public authorities,
Conducting promotional/communication activities where your explicit consent exists (if applicable).
Personal data is processed only as appropriate for the purpose and to the extent necessary.
6. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We may share your personal data in the following situations and only to the extent necessary:
6.1. Service Providers and Business Partners
To provide our services, we may use third-party service providers in areas such as hosting (cloud), maintenance, customer support systems, analytics/performance measurement, crash reporting, and security services. These providers process data only under our instructions and subject to confidentiality obligations.
6.2. App Store / Google Play
Subscription and in-app purchase processes are subject to the rules of the relevant stores. Limited transaction data (e.g., subscription status) may be processed for purchase verification.
6.3. Legal Obligations and Competent Authorities
Data may be shared if duly requested by legally authorized public institutions/organizations and judicial authorities.
6.4. Your Request or Explicit Consent
In situations requiring explicit consent, your data is shared only with your consent; in such cases, the reason and scope are explained separately.
7. CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS
Within the scope of the application infrastructure and our service providers, your data may need to be processed on servers located in Türkiye and/or abroad (e.g., cloud infrastructure). Such transfers are carried out in compliance with the conditions set out under KVKK and with necessary security measures.
8. YOUR RIGHTS (UNDER KVKK)
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information if it has been processed, learn whether it is used in line with its purpose, request correction if incomplete/incorrectly processed, request deletion/destruction, request notification to third parties, object to processing, and request compensation for damages under the conditions set out by law.

9. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide services and limited to retention periods required under applicable legislation.
Account deletion: When you delete your account through the Delete My Account function within the application, the process is completed instantly.
Exceptions: Certain records that must be retained due to legal obligations, dispute/audit processes, or security purposes may be kept for the relevant periods.
10. SECURITY
We implement appropriate technical and administrative measures for the protection of personal data. Nevertheless, due to the nature of internet and mobile communication infrastructures, 100% security cannot be guaranteed; therefore, it is also important for the User to take necessary precautions for account security.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes become effective on the date they are published within the application or notified to the User.
